Vor der Wiedervereinigung habe ich in Westberlin gelebt und gelegentlich Ost-Berlin besucht. 1989 habe ich die Mauer fallen sehen und die darauf folgenden rapiden Veränderungen in Ost- und Westberlin miterlebt. Seit den 90er Jahren bin ich als Guide tätig; vieles über die jüngere Geschichte Berlins kann ich Ihnen aus eigener Erfahrung berichten.

A typical Berliner, as I came to Berlin at the age of 18. Studies of sinology, romance languages and literature and philosophy, with Ph.D. in sinology.
Before reunification I lived in West-Berlin, every now and then visiting East-Berlin. In 1989 I saw the wall come down and witnessed the following rapid changes in East- and West-Berlin. Since the nineties I have been working as a tour guide; I can tell you a lot about Berlin's recent history from my own experience.

Berlinese tipica, venuta a Berlino all'età di 18 anni. Ho studiato sinologia, lingue e letterature romanze e filosofia, con dottorato di ricerca in sinologia.
Prima della riunificazione ho vissuto a Berlino ovest, visitando ogni tanto Berlino est. Nel 1989 ho visto il muro cadere e ho vissuto da vicino i successivi cambiamenti rapidi a Berlino est e ovest. Dagli anni Novanta lavoro come guida turistica; molto sulla storia recente di Berlino vi posso raccontare dalla mia propria esperienza.
