My Name is Michael Rost and I have been working as a professional tour guide in Berlin since 1987.
I run my own tourist agency and offer tailor-maide tours of Berlin by coach, van, bike, boat, public transport or on foot.

Born in the year in which the Wall was built, with a family background in both East and West, I started working as a tour guide when Berlin was still a devided city.
Therefore I can give you first-hand information, how it was like to live in a devided country, how the wall came down and also about all the astonishing changes that have taken place since then.

It is a pleasure for me to meet people from all over the world and I will be happy to give you or your clients an informative, exciting and entertaining tour, keeping in consideration your special needs and requests.

Was liebe ich an dem Beruf des Gästeführers in Berlin?
Zunächst Berlin selbst - eine faszinierende Stadt, ständig im Wandel befindlich, unendlich facettenreich, manchmal widersprüchlich und ständig gibt es Neues zu entdecken.

Dann bereitet es mir größte Freude, Menschen aus aller Welt zu begegnen, Sie durch Berlin zu führen und für die Stadt zu begeistern.

Mich jedes Mal individuell auf meine Gäste einzustellen, um Ihnen je nach Vorwissen und Interessenslage ein Gefühl für die Stadt zu vermitteln und sie rundum gut zu betreuen ist eine Herausforderung und macht mir einfach Spaß.
